Everything Under Control


Hi!

So, another week has gone by and some important stuff happened: we delivered our Control and Presentation prototype and the User Feedback Report for that same prototype. I struggled a bit while doing my part because, as I mentioned last week, there was a bug with the shooting system I couldn't figure out how to fix but with the help of my colleagues we eventually managed to.  I ended up only adding explosions for the projectile whenever it hit an object, a trail for it and some blood whenever an enemy was hit. I feel like it still needs more, maybe a muzzle flash or a better design? I'll have to try some stuff out.

Overall it was exciting to finally be able to meet people in person, to see everyone testing each other's games and we ended up with some pretty useful feedback and suggestions. We're now going to move on to the Third Development Cycle, which is the real deal,  the last one before present our game at MOJO, it's going to be a rough month but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.
