Hit Me With Your Best Shot


Hi! 

Last week we had a meeting where we discussed our next steps. We decided what we're going to include in the prototype and which challenge rooms and power ups we're going to work on and then we split them between the four of us. I was assigned the implementation of some feedback for our fighting mechanics, the goal is to make our projectiles interact with the scene and other players (just a dummy, for now) by adding some visual effects such as explosions and some blood splatter. To achieve that I've been watching some tutorials to learn how to use the Unity Particle System to create those effects but the biggest struggle for now has been getting this to work properly with our shooting system, which still has some bugs we'll be working on fixing during the weekend.

Also, some of us will finally meet in person on Tuesday to present the prototypes and we'll tell you all about the feedback we get in next week's posts. Goodbye for now!
