The Challenge (one of many)


Hi again!

This week, like my colleagues have mentioned, we decided to put some work on hold until after we've had an important meeting this weekend to get everything together and answer the questions that came up during and after the workshop.

Meanwhile I've been thinking about new ideas for challenge rooms and, like I mentioned I would do in last week's blog, I started implementing it on Unity. It's still in an early stage but the idea is to have two players jump through a path of floating tiles with some of those breaking when they fall on them, leading to death but, with the help of a third player who would have access to the right path, they could cross it safely to the other side, where would lay the information of the right tiles the third player would have to cross to get to them.

Even if this idea doesn't make it past this weekend's meeting, at least this warms me up for the work that lies ahead.
