Hello Hello!
Didn't write a post last week cause it was not required. So a lot happened in these two weeks but I'm gonna be brief. So we did the Tech feasibility report and the User feedback report with the feedback from our prototypes. For my prototype, I went with some simple "Keep talking and nobody explodes!" type puzzles, which didn't work that well but to be honest I'm pretty ok with that because it gave me a lot of insight regarding what can work and why in our game. I also fully programmed a character controller in Unity which I'm pretty happy with since It was my first time building a modular character controller as I did. To test it I also built a simple arena, inspired by some Quake Champions maps, and imo the flow of the map and the movement turned out pretty great. Unfortunately, this work did not count towards the prototype since it was high functionality, but it is a big step towards getting the game done so I don't really mind.
This next week I'm gonna start working on the workshop with our focus group which should fun but I have to balance it with some programming so I'll probably work on integrating my player with the multiplayer framework and the shooting mechanics. I wanted to make a video to post here as well but completely forgot about the devlog and now there is no time, so maybe next week. See you then. bye.
